Klaviyo campaigns

Klaviyo campaigns for Shopify and WooCommerce brands

I plan, write, design, and set up your Klaviyo email campaigns, then send each one to the right segment. Every month gets a calendar that balances promotions with product, education, and social proof, so your list keeps buying without turning into a constant “20% OFF” machine.

How I plan campaigns

Not every email
should be a sale.

Flows react to what a customer does. Campaigns are the emails I plan and schedule myself: launches, sales, stories, and news. When every campaign is a discount, customers learn to wait for the next one and your margins shrink. So I plan each month around four content pillars, and I decide who receives each email before I decide what it says.

01PromotionSales, offers, and launches that drive revenue now.
02ProductSpotlights, bestsellers, and new arrivals.
03EducationGuides, tips, and how-tos that build confidence.
04Social proof and brandReviews, UGC, and the story behind the brand.

Campaign types

Twelve kinds of campaign,
each with a job.

These are the campaign types I create for ecommerce brands. I mix them across the month based on your products, season, and audience.

Promotional and sales

Revenue when you need it, without training customers to wait.

  • Percentage or fixed discount
  • Flash and weekend sales
  • BOGO, bundles, free shipping
  • VIP-only sales

Product

Give products a reason to be noticed.

  • New product and collection launches
  • Spotlights and bestsellers
  • Back in stock and restocks
  • Limited editions and pre-orders

Educational and value

The emails that make the sales emails work.

  • How-to and buying guides
  • Product care and FAQs
  • Ingredient and material education
  • “How to choose the right…”

Brand and storytelling

Why customers should care about you, not just the price.

  • Founder story and mission
  • Behind the scenes and process
  • Customer and sustainability stories
  • Anniversaries and milestones

Social proof

Let customers do the persuading.

  • Reviews and testimonials
  • User-generated content
  • Before and after results
  • Creator features and press

Urgency and scarcity

Only when the deadline or low stock is real.

  • Sale ending and last chance
  • Almost sold out
  • Pre-order closing
  • Price increasing soon

Seasonal

Planned weeks ahead, not the night before.

  • Black Friday and Cyber Monday
  • Christmas and New Year
  • Valentine's, Mother's and Father's Day
  • Summer, back to school, Ramadan and Eid

Engagement

Two-way emails that also teach you about your customers.

  • Polls, surveys, and quizzes
  • “Which one would you choose?”
  • Preference collection
  • Giveaways and community

Retention

For customers who already bought from you.

  • VIP offers and early access
  • Loyalty and appreciation
  • Cross-sell and upsell
  • Lapsed-customer campaigns

Announcements

News customers should hear from you first.

  • Website redesign or new store
  • Shipping and policy updates
  • New country or payment method
  • Loyalty or subscription launch

Content and newsletters

A regular reason to open your emails.

  • Weekly or monthly newsletter
  • Blog roundups
  • Product recommendations
  • Monthly highlights

Segment-specific

The same idea, sent to the people it fits.

  • VIP, first-time, or repeat customers
  • Non-buyers and high-AOV buyers
  • Category purchasers
  • Bought A but not B

A sample month

What an eight-campaign

Segmentation

Who receives it matters
as much as what it says.

“New product launch” is the campaign type. Who gets it, and in what order, is the strategy that makes it perform.

  1. Day 1VIP customers first

Early access for the people most likely to buy at full price.

  2. Day 2Engaged in the last 30 days

Your most active subscribers and customers.

  3. Day 3Past buyers of the category

People who already bought something similar.

  4. Day 4–5Engaged in the last 60–90 days

A wider audience, once early sales prove the email works.

Segments I use most

  • Engaged 30, 60, and 90 days
  • VIP and high-AOV customers
  • First-time and repeat customers
  • Non-buyers
  • Category purchasers
  • Bought product A but not product B
  • Location-specific customers
  • Email-only vs SMS subscribers

I rarely send to “all profiles.” Mailing unengaged contacts hurts deliverability for everyone else. My segmentation guide explains how I set these up.

What's included

From the calendar
to the report.

01 / Plan

A monthly calendar.

I plan every send around your launches, season, stock, and the four content pillars, and share it with you for approval.

02 / Create

Copy, design, and setup.

I write the copy, design each email in Figma, then set it up in Klaviyo with the right segment, send time, and subject line tests.

03 / Test and report

Checked, sent, and reviewed.

Every campaign is tested on mobile and desktop before it goes out. Afterward, I review clicks, orders, and revenue to shape next month.

The abandoned checkout flow recovers €2K+ every single month. The design quality is exceptional. It doesn't look like a Klaviyo template, it looks exactly like our brand.

FAQ

Klaviyo campaigns,
straight answers.

A campaign is an email I plan and schedule for a specific date, like a product launch, sale, or newsletter. Flows are automated and triggered by customer behavior; campaigns are the sends you choose to make.
For most active ecommerce brands, I start at around four to eight a month and adjust based on list size, engagement, and how much you have to say. Frequency only helps when each email has a real reason to exist and goes to the right segment.
No. I balance promotions with product, education, and social proof or brand campaigns. Constant discounting trains customers to wait for the next sale and cuts into your margins.
It depends on the campaign. I usually send to engaged segments, such as people active in the last 30, 60, or 90 days, and use VIP, buyer, and category segments for launches and offers. I rarely send to all profiles.
Yes. I plan the calendar, write the copy, design every email in Figma, and set it up in Klaviyo. You approve each campaign before it goes out.
Yes. I check links, discount codes, mobile and desktop layouts, and the audience before every send, and I test subject lines where the list is big enough to give a clear answer.
Yes. For key moments, like a launch or the last hours of a sale, I coordinate an SMS with the email so the two support each other instead of repeating the same message.
Usually, yes. Campaign management is typically a monthly engagement, invoiced at the start of each month. We agree the number of campaigns and the scope after a free consultation.
